How Many Lawyers and Engineers

This weekend one lawyer and one engineer are going to try to figure out how to open one food booth for a festival that is happening in front of our rental space but before our store is actually open. The festival is in a month and a half. We can figure this out.

Anything not to garden. Why do I hate gardening so much. I like having our yard. I do. Is it because there is just so very much work that needs to be done and I have no idea where to begin? Is it because I am overwhelmed by the expense of everything that needs to get done? Honestly, I think its mostly because I don't like to garden.

There. I said it. I don't like Glee. I hated The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, and I even tried to read it twice. And I don't care to garden. If I didn't bring home the bacon I would be totally useless.

  1. Because it takes a huge amount of time and physical labor, it really does. We began working in earnest on ours in the summer of 2006, and just finished it (well, almost) at the end of this past June. X hauled around 10,000 pounds (yes, 5 tons) of raw materials into the back yard, and I put in hundreds of perennials. I think back on how overwhelming and infeasible our plans seemed at first and marvel at the transformation, but it didn't take place overnight. (Those HGTV shows make it seem so simple!) But you know what? Do it long enough, and you might find yourself addicted.

And I watched the first half of the first season of Glee and...lost interest. I like Scandinavian crime novels--the bleakness and austerity attracts me--but I steer clear of titles with gimmicks.

  2. I gave up on Glee...maybe I am just too old for it.

  3. You are my internet soul sister, so how can you not love to garden?

    Try hypnosis.

With you on Glee though. Awful. But, have you watched Traffic Light? It and Raising Hope are TVs best kept secrets.
